After more than two decades in the healthcare industry, Founder and CEO, Jamyce faced an unexpected layoff that became the turning point of her career. Instead of retreating, she chose reinvention—returning to her long‑held love for fashion. What began as a small boutique selling handbags and jewelry quickly grew into an international brand, expanding into markets across Europe, Africa, Canada and Australia within months. As the business flourished, she recognized a deeper calling: creating the same opportunities for others. Jamyce launched a series of fashion shows and networking events designed to spotlight emerging designers, models, and entrepreneurs. The very first show drew significant regional media attention and laid the foundation for Runway Global and Runway Week, a platform which she produced more than 100 events before the 2020 pandemic.  When the world shifted, so did her businesses.
