What is a Style Affiliate? 

A Style Affiliate (SA) is more than a fashion enthusiast—an entrepreneur building her or his own business by blending a great sense of style with commerce.  Our SA promotes the entire Style & Glam brand—including fashion, beauty, accessories, and home décor.  Whether you are looking to pursue a full-time or part-time career, you can earn thousands in commission and products, grow your own brand and make connections within the fashion industry.​

Is there a minimum age to apply? 

Yes, you must be at least 18 years old to apply. This ensures you’re legally eligible to enter into a business agreement and manage responsibilities such as sales, marketing, and tax documentation.

Do I have to be an influencer?  Do I need to be on social media? Is there a minimum follower requirement? 

No, you don’t need to be an influencer, but you must have 10,000 combined followers/subscribers across YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and Tik Tok.  Applicant profiles with the qualifying requirements should be active, public, and demonstrate consistent posting, on-camera confidence, and audience engagement through comments, likes and shares.​​​ Affiliates should be comfortable with basic content production: steady framing, readable on-screen text, clear audio, and simple editing.  Although you don’t need a huge following to start, you do need the drive to grow one.  Our ideal Style Affiliates are storytellers who thrive in front of the camera and behind it.   That means being active in short-form and long-form video, as well as still photography—guiding viewers through outfit hauls, styling tips, and behind-the-scenes peaks at our campaigns and events.

How do I sign up? What happens after?

To sign up, scroll down and complete the registration form.  Once we receive your application, it will be reviewed within 72 hours. You will get an email notification confirming whether you’ve been approved or denied.  If denied, you’ll get a detailed explanation outlining the reason, which most commonly includes not meeting the minimum social media requirements or having a history of public controversies.  If approved, you’ll receive a welcome email containing your unique style code, W-9 form, deposit form, independent agreement contract, marketing materials, and a secure passcode to access the affiliate portal.  Once you receive your style code, start sharing it and watch your earnings grow. Be sure to sign in to the portal to unlock exclusive resources and video trainings designed to help you build and promote your business.

How do I earn money?  When and how will I receive my payouts?

Earning top dollar with Style & Glam is effortless and quick. Once you receive your personalized style code, simply invite your family, friends, and associates to shop, using your style code. When someone makes a purchase, you’ll automatically get commission for each sales order—no extra steps, no guesswork.  The more you share, the more you earn.

Style Affiliates have two flexible options for receiving payouts and bonuses: monthly or quarterly, depending on your preference. All earnings are distributed via electronic transfer to the bank account provided on your deposit form, ensuring secure and timely payments. At the close of each calendar year, you’ll receive a comprehensive financial statement delivered to your email. This report outlines your total sales, commissions earned, and any cash bonuses received throughout the year—making it simple to track your performance and prepare for tax filing.

Will I have taxes taken out? How do I file as an independent contractor?

As an independent contractor, you will not have any taxes taken out from commissions or bonuses.  You'll receive the full amount and be responsible for paying taxes yourself.   Style & Glam will send you a Form 1099-NEC from us at the end of the year. When filing your taxes, you’ll report this income on a Schedule C (Form 1040) and pay self-employment taxes using Schedule SE.  It’s important to maintain accurate records of your income and any related expenses, as some costs may be tax-deductible.   Because tax situations can vary, we recommend you work closely with a tax preparer or accountant for further information and personalized guidance.  We are responsible for withholding or paying taxes for any of our Style Affiliates.

Do I have to handle marketing materials, customer service, orders, shipping?

Absolutely not.  We handle all the operations like customer service, order fulfillment, shipping, and returns, so you don’t have to. That means no packing boxes, no tracking orders, and no answering support emails. You get to concentrate on building relationships, showcasing your expertise, and creating a business that reflects your personality.  When it comes to marketing materials, we provide everything you need to promote your business with confidence. You’ll have access to branded content and ready‑to‑use marketing materials directly through the Style & Glam dashboard. In addition, we’ll send our Style Affiliates printed brochures featuring your contact information to help you connect with potential clients and grow your reach.
